Purgatory Chasm - Sutton
Located just south of Worcester, Purgatory Chasm offers amazing landscapes and fun hiking for those in good shape, as well as a more gentle walking trail for those who simply want to enjoy a quiet, relaxing nature experience.
The main hiking trail through the Chasm has several holes and drop-offs. This trek should be made with sturdy hiking shoes and with attention to what you are doing. I wouldn't advise bringing tiny kids here. The forest walking trail, on the other hand, is well suited to all ages and provides some gorgeous landscapes.
Bring along a picnic to eat in the nearby picnic area!
