Greyhound - Boston Station
Greyhound provides bus service to the Boston area from just about anywhere in the US. With the price of gas getting ever higher, it is INCREDIBLY efficient to go on a bus and in essence share the cost of the bus with everyone else that rides with you. It's quick, safe, and efficient.
I have to admit that the Greyhound station isn't exactly the nicest station around, but it is pretty centrally located and easy to get to and from other nearby transportation systems. It's right near South Station.
You can also get Greyhound pickups at Logan Airport and a few other locations - check with the South Station location to get more details.
